PumpTex, Inc in Central Texas is seeking to hire a full-time Construction Helper to assist our Fuel System Installer and to provide excellent customer service, repairs, and maintenance to the gas stations we serve. QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT INSTALLER/CONSTRUCTION HELPER High school diploma or equivalent Experience with Hand Tools, Power Tools and Safe Working Procedures Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a drug test and background screening Are you a self-starter with a great attitude? Do you have strong customer service skills? Are you attentive to safety? If so, you may be perfect for this position! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FUEL SYSTEM INSTALLER As an Assistant Fuel System Installer, you juggle many tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. With a sense of urgency, you communicate in person and over the phone with our Team and clients. You respond to a variety of construction projects, service calls including emergency response. Happily, you repair and maintain dispensers, turbines, UST tank top equipment, UST monitoring equipment, and dispenser calibration. Your persistence in following up ensures that our clients are taken care of. To stay at the top of your game, you keep up to date on new installation procedures and industry compliance. Additionally, you participate in ongoing training. Your ability to successfully manage client expectations through correct judgments, sound decisions, and your technical knowledge is critical to your success. WORK SCHEDULE Our Installer Team typically work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm but there is usually plenty of opportunity to work overtime. Overnight travel is required for out-of-town projects.
