Start your engineering career with us! UPC is seeking a skilled drafter to join our Design engineering team. In this position the drafter will turn rough sketches, CAD layouts and notes into precise detailed plans using AutoCAD. Responsibilities Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for manufacturing using AutoCAD. Create material yield layouts, 3D model packaging diagrams and assembly instructions. Determines tools and equipment, materials and supplies for production. Maintains document control and produces Bill of Materials using Excel. The selected candidate will work directly with the design team helping bring concept generation to working models for production. Qualifications Associate's degree and one to two years experience or the equivalent combination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD required. Highly detail oriented, Handles tight deadlines with ease Self-starter and excellent communicator. Excellent benefits including 401K, Health Insurance and more. . .
