AWC provides a variety of services for auto manufacturers, including loading and unloading new vehicles onto railcars, installing accessories, body repair, and general vehicle inspection and processing. Our facility is located in California at the beautiful Port of Richmond. This is a Union Facility we provide great benefits a Fun Family atmosphere, Employee programs and Good IncentivesThe Yard/Shuttle Associate Driver duties include moving vehicles for processing and prepping car for release to rail or haul-away carriers. Move vehicle from staging area to shipping bay location. (To include but not limited to washing vehicles, and conducting PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) to ensure quality standard are met.Grow Your Career with AWC! WORK SHIFTS: Monday to Friday including Saturday/Sunday as needed. (No exceptions) WORK HOURS: 7:00 am - 3:30 PM (with overtime possibilities) PLEASE NOTE: (ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR HIRE) Candidate must have a current valid driver's license & good driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months and no more than 3 in the last 3 years) Able to drive automatic automobile vehicles and past onsite drivers test Able to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions; able to lift 35 to 40 pounds; have good visual and auditory ability.
