DAY-TO-DAY FOR AN AUTOMATION ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER This position travels domestically and internationally 30-50% of the time . As a result, you should anticipate some long hours and non-traditional work schedules. As our new Automation Engineering Project Manager at our technology company, you hold a critical role as the primary point of contact for customers, team members, and contractors. You possess the ability to effectively lead and inspire your team toward achieving crucial targets, such as cost, schedule, quality, and EHS. You possess a high level of proficiency in project management, ranging from internal meetings to external project reviews. You effectively manage project deviation and meticulously prepare documentation for installation processes and work packages, leaving nothing to chance. Your technical expertise extends to assessing, approving, and expediting technical aspects of change orders, as well as defining effective claim strategies for customers, partners, and subcontractors. Your budget management skills are unparalleled, enabling you to manage costs and quality for subcontracted design services efficiently. Additionally, you provide unwavering support to your team, ensuring they receive technical assistance and guidance whenever necessary. As a lifelong learner, you actively seek new opportunities to apply practical applications to your work. WHAT WE NEED IN AN AUTOMATION ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering or a related field 3 years of experience in a project engineering role OR an equivalent combination of education and experiences Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to speak and understand English Depending on the position, experience with the following is preferred but not required: Hardware – AutoCAD, Ebase, or Eplan Software – Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, VMware, HyperV PCL – Studio 5000, TIA Portal Are you highly organized and able to function effectively under critical and tight deadlines?
