We have been a level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home since 2011 and were the first to earn that designation in Sacramento. About the Position The Dentist provides comprehensive, appropriate and quality dental care and treatment to patients. Duties and Responsibilities Core Duties Provide routine and emergency dental services, including exams, diagnosis and treatment plans, cleanings, general restorative procedures, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics and minor oral surgery. Prescribe and interpret X-ray and lab studies. Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications. Provide dental and oral health education. Ensure the delivery of all dental treatment and care is consistent with all regulatory, accreditation and professional standards, including clinic policies and quality initiatives. Demonstrate high degree of knowledge and competency in the practice of dentistry and associated charting requirements. Ensure accuracy, efficiency and appropriate confidentiality with patient charting and related recordkeeping. Education/Experience/License/Certification Required All licenses and certifications are to be kept current and in good standing with the CA Dental Board D.S./D.M.D. from an accredited dental school CA Dental License DEA license CA Board approved courses necessary for license renewal-CA Dental Practice Act and CA Dental Infection Control American Heart Association approved BLS Certification (CPR) 3 years of experience preferred Health Notice As a healthcare provider, all One Community Health employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 . Exceptions are only allowed for qualified medical and religious reasons. If you need to get vaccinated, you can do so at our Midtown clinic.
