Title: Simulation Technician/Instructor Full-Time - Contingent on Contract Award (Anticipated Award March 2023) Location: Fort McCoy, WI Company: Advanced Computer Learning Company, LLC Who We Need: Advanced Computer Learning Company (ACLC), LLC is seeking a Simulation Technician/Instructor for the Regional Training Site - Medical (RTS-Med) at Fort McCoy, WI. The RTS-Med carries out teaching and instruction activities for U.S. Army reserve component medical units, other Army components, joint medical units, and civil authorities in disaster assistance and response to weapons of mass destruction. This site offers several versions of realistic medical simulation training in a state of the art facility and tactical deployable medical systems (DEPMEDS). The RTS-Med executes integrated combat health support training and logistical support to include individual and collective clinical training, Warrior Task training, medical maintenance support and training, logistics support, training and exercise support, pre-deployment support, and disaster contingency support. Responsibilities: Serves as the SME and equipment site level maintainer for all Medical Simulators and Devices. Manages all aspects of regular maintenance, setup, use, and disestablishment of clinical training areas including skills lab, Role 1-3 facilities, and other training areas. Serves as the primary instructor/trainer for moulage and simulator user-level training. Responsible for ordering and maintaining Class VIII medical equipment, moulage supplies, and other material related to the operations of simulators and clinical skills training areas. Works with instructor/trainers and staff to ensure simulator training requirements are met for section modular training. Serves as the SLOC holder for all simulator and skills lab materials. Identifies simulators that require higher level maintenance and tracks/coordinates all material evacuation and return requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator - Advanced (CHSE-A), or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSIH) or be able to obtain CHSE certification within 2 years from the date of hire. See SSIH.org for certification eligibility requirements. CompTIA A+ certification or the ability to achieve CompTIA A+ certification within 90 days of hire. Required proficiency in the use of audio/visual equipment. Proficiency with high-fidelity patient and canine simulators, software, hardware, and maintenance. Shall obtain rough terrain forklift license within 90 days of hire. Education: Bachelor's degree in accordance with Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) requirement.
