This position reportsdirectly to the Chief Information Officer and is primarily responsible for applications includingERP, Product Life Cycle, Warehouse Management and Data Integration Platforms. Theindividual should be strongly familiar with the omnichannel world and today's retailenvironment to ensure that customer is served with the best possible experience from orderinitiation through delivery; should also be hands on, detail oriented and possessdevelopment expertise. The Manager of Applications Development should be a greatlistener with an adaptable communication style and a passion for retail applications. The rolewill lead the technical development team with a desire for total understanding of ourbusiness and supply chain systems.Responsibilities Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff Manage the vendors that support applications, IT services and other areas necessary tosupport the full technology landscape. Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business andtechnology needs and to optimize the use of information technology Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems Develop strategy as it relates to the IT roadmap. Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staffQualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, ora related field Experience working in a fast-paced digital retail ecommerce environment Strong vendor management skills 5+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, andoverseeing large information technology projects Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systemsadministration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across theentire organization Excellent leadership and decision-making skills Strong knowledge of project management principles Experience with Demand Planning, Data Integration platforms and ERP systems Experience with Celigo and NetSuite a plus Job Posted by ApplicantPro
