Patient Advocate - Inpatient

Serve as Patient Advocate throughout PPI. Works closely with patients, their loved ones and other professionals working in the facility. The duties of a patient advocate include, working with patients to resolve concerns and to ensure they have the best experience possible. Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or healthcare related field. 1-2 years' experience in a behavioral health setting required. Must have excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Maintain certification/education as required (e.g. Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention, CPR, etc.). Proficient computer skills required. Full-time (30 hours per week) position available flexible hours.
