The candidate must be admitted to the State Bar. The Financial Services Practice Attorney will be an integral member of the practice group, gaining meaningful experience by working closely with attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of fund formation experience, encompassing drafting fund documents, negotiating side letters, and providing advice on securities laws affecting private fund advisers. Duties:Play a key role in fund formation activities.Draft fund documents and agreements.Negotiate side letters with clients.Provide legal advice on securities laws relevant to private fund advisers.Collaborate with attorneys and clients to address legal needs.Conduct legal research to stay informed on regulatory developments.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Requirements:4+ years of fund formation experience.Admitted to the State Bar. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law school. Certifications:State Bar admission. Skills:Proficient in drafting fund documents and agreements.Strong negotiation skills for dealing with side letters.In-depth knowledge of securities laws impacting private fund advisers.Legal research and analytical skills.Collaborative and effective communication skills.
