A great local company that has diverse divisions in Canada and United States has a great opportunity for a Tax Specialist. The income tax function is centralized in Vancouver. In this role, you will assist with the Canadian income tax compliance for the group, and you will also be involved in supporting reorganizations, acquisitions, and research for various tax matters. Reporting To Director, Accounting & Tax and you will be responsible for: Prepare Canadian tax returns and associated documentation, including corporate returns, partnership returns, foreign reporting, and other related forms for the group Prepare the Canadian tax provision working papers as part of the year-end audit • Implement and maintain technology solutions utilized in the compliance processes Assist with responses to tax audit inquiries Assist with various research and other projects as required Educations and requirement: Professional accounting designation (CPA) 3 years or more of accounting and Canadian tax compliance experience • Experience with preparation of tax provisions and tax returns Experience with Taxprep is preferable High proficiency with Excel and strong comfort level with utilizing technology and accounting systems Ability to work independently and strong time management skills • Good communication skills Please send you resume to xyz X@ag- for this awesome opportunity Powered by Jazz HR.
