FULLY REMOTE /OPERATIONS – MARKETING /FULL TIME Canvas Medical is the electronic medical records (EMR) and payments development platform for healthcare. We build modern, elegant front- and back-end tooling to enable new ways for developers and clinicians to collaborate to solve healthcare’s toughest challenges. Canvas is institutionally backed by some of the greatest technology investors in the world (funded notable health tech companies such as GoodRx, Oscar Health, and Hims & Hers Health). As our first marketing hire, the Director of Marketing is responsible for building, executing, and monitoring lead generation strategies and experiments. In this role, you will build and lead our multi-channel demand generation function for Canvas Medical, including development and execution of GTM strategy by segment in order to drive market awareness, educate and capture buyers’ interest, and ultimately build a predictable pipeline. This role requires leadership and vision, along with a deep understanding of what it takes to build an agile demand organization (team structure, metrics, channels, targets & budgets). You will report to the COO, and be responsible for working with various functions across the organization to design, plan, manage and optimize integrated digital marketing programs. How you'll create impact: • Developing, executing, optimizing, and reporting on integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to generate pipeline and drive continuous improvement • Curate and refine a first-class digital experience with clear customer journeys and performance scorecards designed and implemented for key personas in target verticals • Fully optimize lead handoff from Marketing to Sales to ensure tech stack and lead operations are maximized for pipeline generation across all lead sources • Collaborate with sales, product and customer success to establish priorities, goals and KPIs, and develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver effective campaigns • Create a highly effective ABM framework for driving brand awareness and pipeline generation against strategic accounts • Partner with external vendors and creative agencies to develop ad assets, landing pages, email copy, etc. for content syndication and demand gen programs What we're looking for: • A track record of delivering consistent, highly-qualified leads into the funnel • An ability to demonstrate and articulate a process-driven approach to executing on content marketing, digital marketing, lead nurturing, email marketing, pay-per-click, and social media campaigns that deliver quality leads to sales • A big thinker with hands-on, get-it-done, skills to both plan and execute lead gen programs. • Must be comfortable rolling up sleeves to get the work done • Thrives on a data-driven approach to marketing with the ability to make fact-based decisions and work proactively with others to share the insights and drive change/improvement in lead gen programs based on the data • The ability to partner with a collaborative approach to both internal and external stakeholders. • Must be comfortable asking for help when needed and crossing roles to help others when priorities dictate the need • A proven ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment; growth stage startup experience is a plus • A passion for driving equality in the workforce for a more just and efficient global economy Education and experience: • 6+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, digital marketing, and campaign management • Demonstrated experience growing revenue at scale via performance marketing in B2B SaaS • Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, and communication across teams • Experience analyzing and optimizing marketing programs and growth initiatives • Experience using marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or CRMs such as Salesforce • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Zoom or GoToWebinar • Healthcare and/or developer marketing experience preferred • Applicants across the US are encouraged to apply, as this is a 100% remote (US )position.
