Job Title:Pricing AnalystLocation:CA - Westlake VillageWhat you'll do:AmeriHome Pricing Analysts work within the Secondary Marketing, Capital Markets department to deliver pricing to our customers and support the Capital Markets Trading Desk. You will work directly with AmeriHome's clients to support their post-trade changes to ensure successful fulfilment of trades. You'll be responsible for communicating price changes and handling exception pricing for AmeriHome's Retail lending division and make commitment updates on their behalf. You'll learn how to gather and analyze competitive market information to make recommendations on pricing. In this role, you'll learn how AmeriHome prices, bids on, and buys loans. Analysts will develop a strong understanding of mortgage capital markets, mortgage-backed securities, and whole loan purchases and sales.What we are looking for: Responsibilities Make post-trade adjustments including pricing updates, rolls, pair-offs, extensions, and substitutions Update, validate, and disseminate daily Best-Efforts pricing Perform competitiveness analysis and recommend updates to pricing to maximize company volume and revenue Trading Desk support including trade setup, trade confirmations, trade updates, and trade management functions Work with external and internal groups such as AmeriHome Retail, client sellers, vendors, broker dealers and GSEsQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field Strong background in Excel is preferred, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, etc. Must be able to communicate with various groups clearly and effectively within the company as well as various external business partners both verbally and in writing Demonstrated ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and adhere to firm deadlines is critical Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Experience with SQL is a plusCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $69,299.00 - $85,605.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
