Outstanding Internal Medicine Opportunity --JOB 3210096 Join our Internal Medicine team as part of the Medical Group, a multi-specialty group of primary and specialty care providers affiliated with our Memorial Hospital. --A hospital employed position joining three physicians and three non-physician providers in a busy IM office Practice with a five-day workweek-Monday-Friday, Flexible patient hours 8-5pm and extended hours available. Currently a traditional practice, alternative models will be considered to meet your needs. Flexible scheduling allows you a good balance of work, lifestyle, and family time. ----- As a certified rural health clinic, physicians enjoy practicing broad based medicine treating a wide variety of illnesses and conditions with minimal subspecialties on site. -- On call Internists are responsible for unassigned and IM patient admissions, ED consults, supervising inpatient stress testing and reading EKG---s. Duties also include rounding in our 5-bed step down ICU and collaboration with respiratory therapy for ventilator management. The general surgeons perform central line placements. --- Offices are located in professional medical building attached to the hospital and utilize an Electronic Health Record within the medical group and hospital. The hospital offers generous benefits including paid malpractice insurance, full family health insurance and a 2 yr guaranteed salary with ability to convert to productivity-based incentive pay at any time. Memorial Hospital-- A first-class, progressive, independent, 46-bed acute care facility, with an attached 34-bed skilled nursing facility, serving four counties in northern lower Michigan. --- High quality, fully Joint Commission accredited community hospital. --- Proactive Administration team providing support and attention to physician needs. --- Exceptional work environment with clean updated facilities and a well-trained team of friendly caring staff. Quality driven, OMH maintains high standards for staff and facilities, winner of numerous awards for patient care and quality services. --- 24 hour physician-staffed Emergency Department --- Anesthesia provided 24 hours 7 days a week by 3 Anesthesiologists and 3 CRNA---s --- State of the art facilities include a surgical suite with 3 OR---s, 3 procedure rooms, an Endoscopy room, along with a 22 bed PACU. --- Patient service areas renovated in 2006 include the rehabilitation facilities, with a therapy pool and camera system that allows therapists to monitor and film patient---s progress, as well as laboratory and radiology areas with the addition of an open bore MRI and 64 slice CT scanner. --- OMH operates OMH Medical Group offices in Gaylord, Lewiston and Indian River, in addition to the MedCare Walkin Clinic, OMH N---Orthopedics, OMH Oncology/Infusion Center, OMH Urology, and the Otsego Diagnostic Specialty Center.
