Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician w/ Relocation Assistance-- Fort Lauderdale, FL Summary We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN to join our growing team of providers!-- Benefits for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Competitive compensation that is negotiable based on experience Great benefits: Health, Dental Vision, CME allowance with time off, Paid vacation, plus more! 401K, Life Insurance with short term disability Full office support staff w/ dedicated Medical Assistants-- Responsibilities of Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Interview new patients to assess their symptoms, needs, or problems; record and utilize their medical history for diagnosis Perform well-woman exams that include pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition Counsel patients on safe sex practices and preventative medicine practices Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal advising up to delivery and postnatal care, sometimes in collaboration with a midwife Order and analyze necessary tests, screenings, biopsies, scans, etc. to effectively diagnose a problem Direct, advise and supervise medical staff including nurses, physician assistants, med techs etc. on proper procedures and protocol. Continue personal education on current medical practices and innovations by reading medical journals, attending conferences, etc. Requirements of Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Doctor of medicine or osteopathy required. Florida Medical License Board Certification or Board Eligible within 5 years of graduation Experience using E-Clinical Work EMR preferred
