Where You Belong.Job SummaryAs a member of our golf course maintenance team you will be involved in performing all necessary landscaping and maintenance practices critical to maintaining our 18 hole golf course, as well as our clubhouse grounds and more. This type of work will include, but is not limited to, mowing, edging, string trimming, backpack blowing, raking, and other basic landscaping tasks. Your daily worksite will be an immaculate golf course designed by legendary golf course architect Arthur Hills, with our scenic views and rolling hills, your day-to-day will be filled with photogenic views. Our property is intertwined with wooded and wetland type areas, giving it an "Up North" feel in the middle of Clarkston! We begin maintenance on our golf course bright and early, typically starting our shift as early as 6am, and ending in the early afternoon. This job also comes with weekend requirements, meaning you will be required to work one shortened morning shift either Saturday or Sunday each weekend. Our golf maintenance department is heavily ingrained in a team atmosphere and positive culture, so working in groups/as a team is a requirement that comes with the benefit of building positive relationships with your coworkers. Day-to-Day * Mowing Of Our Grass Surfaces, Raking Sand Traps, Backpack Blowing, String Trimming, Edge Work, All Landscape Related Task * Cleaning Course/Clubhouse Areas, Collecting Trash, Removing Debris * Flowerbed/Mulch Work, Weed Removal, Flower Planting * Basic Equipment Maintenance, Fueling, Washing, Reporting Issues With Machines/Equipment * Shop Maintenance, Cleaning of Our Work Space, Equipment, and All of Our Golf Maintenance Facilities About You * Must Be A Team Player Who Works Well With Others * Outdoorsy And Willing To Work In Unfavorable Weather * Punctual And Able To Function Well Early In The Morning * Reliable And Trustworthy, Must Be Able To Perform Tasks With Little To No Supervision * Detail Oriented Individual * Eager/Willing To Learn New Skills, Experience Preferred But Not Required What Can We Do For You? * Starting Wage $15-$17/hour Depending On Experience * Limited Employee Golf Privileges * Heavily Discounted Employee Meals * Provided Work Uniforms * Healthy/Fun Work Environment Have more questions?
