A General Surgery Physician Surgeon practice is seeking a qualified physician for Milton, FL. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. Breakdown of hospital employed network: 2 OBG, 1 Neurology, 1 Pulmonology, 6 FPs, 1 PD, 1 ORS. Call: a minimum of 1:2 but most likely 1:3. Office: 40,000 square foot medical office adjacent to hospital which currently has available space. Competitive Compensation Package: salary + WRVU incentive, nice benefits, relocation expenses, malpractice insurance, commencement bonus, potential for medical education debt assistance. Reason for Search: one General Surgeon is rolling off ER call, and one Surgeon primarily practices in Pensacola. Community Need Assessment indicates a need for 6.2 General Surgeons. SRMC only has 2.1. 3 General Surgeons on staff. 24 hour anesthesia coverage 4 main operating rooms 2 operating rooms dedicated to Women's Services diVinci in place hybrid "blocked" scheduling for OR Rated 2nd best public school district in state of FL Expansion of market footprint into secondary market area New services available (Sleep lab, ophthalmology, pain management) No state tax in FL Unemployment below national average Close proximity to beautiful beaches on the Gulf Sportsman's paradise Successful Joint Commission Trienniel Survey with full accreditation in June 2013 Recognized by Joint Commission as Core Measures Top Performer for third year in a row "A" Rating on Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Survey for second year in a row Anticipated population growth of 7% in the next 5 years.
