URGENT CARE POSITION WITH SOUTHWEST MEDICAL ASSOCIATES, INC. Southwest Medical Associates, the largest multi-specialty group in Nevada with over 260 providers and 14 offices, invites you to join our Urgent Care staff. We are seeking Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with emergency medicine or urgent care experience. Our staff is comprised of physicians and mid-level providers who are comfortable with a higher level of acuity and who are skilled in a vast array of outpatient procedures. Our facilities are modern and well-equipped, and are supported by an exceptional nursing staff. The schedule is equitable and flexible, with ample time off. Holidays are evenly divided among the providers. Additional shifts, which are paid at a premium rate, are also available. The schedule is demanding, but ideal for those who desire an alternative work schedule and who do not wish to conform to a traditional five-day workweek. Importantly, our turnover rate is extremely low. We offer an attractive base salary, bonus plan, and comprehensive fringe benefits package. Additional annual stipends are paid for board certification, supervision of extenders, and urgent care differential. Las Vegas offers the best in entertainment and cultural options, in addition to being an affordable metropolitan area in which to live. Also, Nevada has no state income tax.
