Physical Therapist Assistant in BUFORD GA Zona Physical Therapy is a dynamic and patient-centered healthcare facility committed to providing high-quality rehabilitative services. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant with expertise in pelvic floor and orthopedic rehabilitation to join our dedicated team. The Position: As a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for our diverse patient population. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to promoting overall health and well-being Responsibilities: Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to assess and evaluate patients with pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with a focus on pelvic floor and orthopedic rehabilitation. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
