Job Title: Field Maintenance TechnicianSchedule: 5/2 (Mon - Fri)Location: Kenedy, TXPay: DOE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Trouble shoots mechanical equipment of Wellhead components and flow control equipment, orders parts and schedules repairs, emergency repairs as necessary. * Takes One Call orders for the preparation of construction activities. * Familiar with flare systems, Dehy PM, different type of pump repair, equipment cleans outs, able to lead and direct small groups. * Ensures all codes are followed during ordering and maintenance of Wellhead and flow control equipment by outside sources to meet spec and design criteria * Works with engineering and team members to aide in the design and change of equipment to reduce failures and increase efficiency * Works with team members to set expectations and standards for contractor performances and ensure they understand and abide by all customer's environmental, safety and operation standards * Performs other duties as assigned * Receiving One Call Notifications. * Reviewing One Calls to see if they affect customer locations and facility piping and wiring. * Using a line finder to locate on site piping and wiring. * Marking lines on site. * Making contact with contractors who will be working on customer sites prior to and during work. * When not working on One Calls, assist other Maintenance Techs with projects or daily duties. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Knowledge of materials, method and tools involved in the maintenance of Wellhead and flow control equipment * Knowledge of equipment, policies, and procedures relevant to the One Call system * Ability to monitor operations and situations to ensure Q/A, QC and compliance with appropriate underground utilities * Ability to read and interpret manuals, policies, procedures, permits, governmental regulations, engineering plans, job specific reports, area maps, and correspondence to complete One Call and maintenance activities * Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials * Ability to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects to equipment * Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, UtiliSphere * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2-5 years experience in oil and gas required, three years preferred * Candidate must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. * Work schedule will be Monday through Friday (5 on / 2 off - 8 hour days).
