Description:As Quality Assurance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Quality Assurance and Sanitation, managing a team of professionals including the Quality Assurance Manager and Sanitation Manager.Oversee and direct all operations of the Quality Assurance and Sanitation Departments.Ensure appropriate staffing and training in all quality areas to meet food safety and quality expectations.Act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer quality issues.Drive continuous improvement and implement corrective actions for product quality incidents.Assist in managing the Food Safety (HACCP/HARPC) Program and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Manage the budget for the Quality Assurance and Sanitation Department at our location.Provide backup support for the Food Safety Manager and Manager of Quality Assurance when needed.Lead on-site quality audits and serve as the main technical contact for customers and corporate offices.Requirements/Skills:Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.Quality certifications such as PCQI and Better Process Control are preferred.At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct experience in food and aseptic processing being a plus.Strong team building, project management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams both internally and externally.Solid knowledge of food processing, quality control, and understanding of ingredient functionality, material selection, and formulation.Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to finding innovative solutions.Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including technical presentations and reports.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.If interested please apply below or send a copy of your updated resume to SGoudy judge.comWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career advancement. if interested please apply below or send me a updated resume to SGoudy judge.comhttps://www.judge.com/jobs/details/977770/UI977770
