A Internal Medicine Physician General Internist practice is seeking a qualified physician for Starke, FL. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. Two options: #1 Physician Opportunity to join an established, high volume practice with inpatient/outpatient responsibilities or can practice in an 100% outpatient only clinic. Two offices: Starke (1 mile from hospital), office is actually a renovated wing of the original community hospital, with over 2,600 square feet and 4 exam rooms. Keystone Heights (15 miles from hospital - towards Jacksonville and Clay County) - Renovated home given to Dr. by a former patient, now equipped with X-ray, a procedure room, and multiple exam rooms. Dr. Restea has been in practice in Starke for 26 years. Practice also employs two Nurse Practitioners. Dr. is prominent member of medical staff, including serving on the board. Originally from Romania. He completed his training at LSU and Chicago. His wife is a CRNA at the hospital. Option for partnership after 18 months. #2 Hospital Employed setting. Both situations offer employment in a family-oriented community where physician services are respected and appreciated. Competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits; relocation, commencement bonus, potential medical education debt assistance and assistance in marketing your practice. Practice would encompass a primary care office setting and the possibility of Nursing home rounds. Inpatient work is optional. Location qualifies as a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) site for loan forgiveness. Dr. is the only full-time Internist on staff of hospital. Call 1 in 3 with Dr. (office call). Inpatient/ER call is optional The recruitment of an IM(s) would be into a RHC (Rural Health Clinic). Great Reimbursement!
