BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) On-Call (Monday-Thursday, Overnight: 5:00pm-8:30am) to join our team in our Glen Burnie, MD Senior Living office. This office services clients on a per visit basis in senior living (Independent/Assisted Living) communities within the Anne Arundel County and Howard County, Maryland area. One year prior clinical experience as a Registered Nurse is required. As a home care nurse, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities: Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territoriesPerform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and proceduresMonitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services ManagerFollow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' ordersPerform client assessments as necessaryCase management and coordinationAccurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN): A current license as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong interpersonal skills.Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
