POSITION OVERVIEW AITC is seeking an Information Engineer - Intermediate to handle the analysis, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems. Evaluates, and develops information solutions, identifies opportunities and risks for the enterprise. Reviews human-IT processes and advises on information technology strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES * Analyzing current IT systems, architectures, and processes. * Identifying risks, opportunities, faults, and areas for development within the company's IT framework. * Designing IT solutions and solving issues effectively. * Executing well-thought-out solutions and plans to improve company efficiencies. * Maintaining robust systems processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies. * Developing new IT methods and solutions for the enterprise, as required. * Reporting issues, advances made, and other important information to stakeholders. * Advising management on weak points, avenues for improvement, and risks in the company's IT infrastructure. * Strategizing with other key stakeholders on how to best align IT systems with network enterprise objectives. * Additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Requires 4-6 years of related experience. * Bachelor's degree in a related field * ITIL Foundations within 6 months. * SECRET Clearance * Security + CE * Must be a US citizen. * Able to work Overtime as required. * Must be available to travel as required. * Demonstrated experience: o Knowledge of databases, data processes, program architectures, and data security. o Skills in designing, reporting, and documenting implementations and solutions. o Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems. o Up-to-date insight into the latest developments in the information technology sphere. o Ability to work independently and knowledge of agile team structures. o Excellent report writing and communication skills. o Superb interpersonal and presentation skills. PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE * Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations * Certification and proficiency in a coding language (.NET, Visual Basic, C++, or SQL). * CSSLP PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Predominantly indoors in a normal office environment. * Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach. * Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English. * May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time. * Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions. * Must have visual acuity. * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
