Marketing Interns at Helena Products Group (HPG) assist our marketing services team with a variety of marketing initiatives to support Helena brands, including communication activities, branding, video production, graphic design, event planning and market research. While working within the marketing services team, our interns gain an understanding of Helena's business and processes in the agriculture and professional sectors of our industry. What your day may look like Works on assigned projects both independently and as a team member. Researches online, social media platforms, print and other media for information for competitive content and trends that support brand launches. Develops and supports the marketing team in the development of launching pesticides and fertilizer brands to the market. Organizes complex projects such as website, social media and video shoots. Assists in coordinating and marketing our annual sales meeting. Completes weekly intern challenges to gain further insight about Helena and the industry. Participates in weekly marketing services team meetings Prepares and delivers a final project and presentation to HPG leadership. Other work-related duties as assigned by leader. Reliable and regular attendance is expected. Education and experience needed for this position Must be currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree, preferably in agriculture, agriculture communications, agribusiness, communications, marketing or business is required. Other skills that will help you succeed Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and One Drive. Working Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is required. Familiar with basic video, photography and audio recording technology is preferred. Ability to work on our website and social media. Organizational skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Your work environment and the physical aspects of the jobThe work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
