Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery. The individual will operate a wide variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools. Position reports to the Facilities Manager.Key AccountabilitiesResponsible for performing periodic preventative maintenance Assist with facility maintenance and repairsMaintains the lighting system. Replacing lamps, tubes, and bulbs as needed inside and outside the buildingKeeps an inventory of all filters, lamps, bulbs and other supplies. Places orders as requiredInspects and documents fire extinguisher and fire main system conditionMaintains the oil/oily water waste systemAssist in equipment and other maintenance repairsKeeps the Maintenance equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition Follow all safety rulesPunctual and reliable Work cooperatively in a group settingAbility to work unsupervisedBasic understanding of electrical systemsSingle phase electrical installationPainting experience Ability to follow directions both written and verbal. Reliable transportationValid California Drivers License preferredAbility to work with a dynamic environment with changing tasks and prioritiesAbility to work on elevated work (i.e., Ladder/Manlift)Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent5+ years of related experience requiredAbility to provide direction, implement ideas, and adapt to changing business environmentAbility to communicate effectively with team and cross functionallyAbility to use various forklifts and stock-handling equipmentTotal Rewards and BenefitsCompetitive Salary: $27.85-$30.00/hrMedical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceMatching 401(k) ContributionHealth Savings AccountEducational ReimbursementMatching Gift ProgramSalary Range: The compensation range(s) identified above are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations.
