Job Title: C ourse administrator Location: Carlisle, PA Travel: N/A Duties: The applicant shall serve as a course administrator for an in-residence program and shall provide instruction, and guidance to students enrolled in the program. The applicant shall adhere to the guidelines, deadlines, agendas, and plans of action to accomplish assigned objectives and to provide support. The applicant shall coordinate the invited Guest Speakers for Second Resident Course. Request and verify lodging for Guest Speakers. The applicant Assist the Second Year Education Technicians with assigning students/seminars to hotels. Assist with selecting students to introduce guest speakers. The applicant shall assist with the preparation of online course content materials. The applicant shall assist with the composing and editing for course scripts to be given to the Instructional Support Group. The applicant shall assist the Course Director with the execution of the two-week SRC which includes classroom instruction, lectures, staff rides, and seminar activities. Qualifications: The applicant shall be able to abide by all applicable regulations, publications, manuals, and local policies and procedures. Education/Experience: The applicant shall possess a Joint Professional Military Education Phase. The applicant shall possess master’s degree from an accredited graduate degree granting institution in a discipline relevant to a major field of study within the U. S. Army War College.
