Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct research for identifying and obtaining correct parts.Maintain accurate inventory counts for manufactured and purchased partsInvestigate and correct inventory discrepancies, receiving and other related factorsWork with cycle count team members on errorConduct root cause analysis, identify gaps and implement process changeRead product specifications/engineering prints to match part to inventory locationPerform daily inventory accuracy audits of the purchase and/or manufacturing inventory and assure proper inventory levels are maintainedConsolidate inventory locationsMaterial handling including the use of forklifts, carts, and hand truckPerform duties related to receiving and disbursing materials, including records maintenance.Perform all required duties associated with counting, reporting, ordering and issuing various parts as coordinated by shop planners.Fill part shortages in a timely manner and communicate shortages.Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Follow all standard operating procedures.Perform other duties as required or directed.Rate of Pay:$22.60/Hour + $4,000 Signing Bonus ($1320 at 90 days of service, $1320 at 180 days of service, and $1,360 at 1 years of service.) Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDAbility to become forklift certifiedAbility to meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to lift up to 50 poundsPreferred candidate would have 3-4 years of material handling/logistics experience.
