If you have what it takes to become part of the Vistra family and would like to start a promising career with a global leader, take a look at the exciting employment opportunities that are currently available and apply online.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient operation of the Energy Storage facility. The facility is a 300 megawatt, 100 megawatt and soon to be an additional 350 megawatt Battery Storage plant, utilizing over 250,000 lithium batteries, power inverter, air handlers, HVAC and switchyard equipment. This position will provide day to day Operation/maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repairs to the battery storage facility equipment. This is a 24/7, 12 hour rotating shift work.Job Description*Position includes operating, evaluating, maintaining, and repairing (low, medium, high voltage) breakers, switch gear, switch yards, motor control centers, AC & DC circuitry, electrical disconnect, transformers, lighting panels, HVAC UPS, batteries, charger, inverters and VFD's. *Evaluate, maintain, and repair electrical equipment & controls, relay protection schemes, electrical monitoring equipment, various operating gauges, instruments, PLC's and alarms.*Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant electronic, pneumatic systems, analyzers, facility computers, process control equipment and instrumentation. *Perform trouble-shooting activities on all plant electrical equipment. Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems in systems, read and interpret online diagrams, electrical protection scheme, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and vendor service manuals. *Participate in major maintenance projects, including equipment overhauls and removal and replacement of major units and parts. Inspects and monitors work of third-party contractors during major equipment repair or installation.
