Foxhole is seeking an energetic and engaging Knowledge Manager to assist the organization in assessing information flow, designing an effective program, and improving overall information efficiency. The Knowledge Manager will be part of a team that assists 6 sections within the Directorate to improve information transfer. The documentation involved is focused on cybersecurity acquisition and deployment artifacts that are distributed across SharePoint, shared folders, and workflow software. Job Description Assess the information flow in the organizationDesign a KM program that effectively and efficiently improves information transferDevelop a KM solution to the problem, this includes the requirements, processes and procedures which implement the KM solutionManage the current knowledge management practices as well as design new knowledge distribution policies and encourage use of the new practicesAnalyze the effectiveness of the new knowledge management programs by observing its usage and evaluate its impact in terms of the organizational benefitsInteract with the staff members, unit managers and the clients. Act as a mediator to answer the queries of the clients and staff about the knowledge management products and practicesUtilize the knowledge base resources and design a training module for the staff and clients to help them access the knowledge management toolsBe responsible for the analysis of social networks and formation of communities of practice within the organizationEncourage the staff and workers to share knowledge effectively and efficiently Minimum Requirements Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or similar disciplineCan Substitute five (5) years of enterprise IT or Cybersecurity experience for a degree in discipline other than aboveMinimum 2-3 years experience applying Knowledge Management principles in a large IT or acquisition programs.Experience developing or reviewing technical contract deliverables.Excellent communications and planning skills Should be able to transform the ideas of management and implement appropriate solutions in the organizationExcellent analyzing skills and ability to tackle critical situationsAbility to maintain constructive work relationships with the employees of all the departments; seniors as well as juniorsLeadership quality and ability to supervise and guide the employees Desired Experience/Certifications Certified Knowledge Manager from an approved institution More Information Requirements of position: Think analytically, effective verbal and written communication skills, make decisions, observe/remember details, interpret data, concentrate on tasks, adjust to change, handle stress/emotions. Regular attendance, maintain work schedule, attend meetings, meet deadlines, keyboard/type, handle confidential information, use math/calculations, stay organized, operate office equipment, may direct others.
