Position Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Business Development, the Senior Sales Manager is the primary point of contact for customer communication for the ADPma group of products. This highly visible role is responsible for growing sales of the current product portfolio by deepening relationships with current customers and demonstrating the Company’s value to add new customers. This role requires the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to deliver results. Duties and Responsibilities Meet monthly sales targets for assigned accounts. Identify new sales targets for both new products and new customers. Complete pre-trip analysis and planning as well as post-trip summary of customer meetings and next actions. Works as part of a collaborative team to address all product line issues including production, engineering, delivery, sales, and quality. Helps prepare regular updates for the Company on business performance. Works with all departments to ensure customer issues are resolved. Capabilities Demonstrate effective time management skills. Understand and effectively communicate status of product lines to Company leadership. Evaluate and determine priority of action items and delegate as needed. Demonstrate strong business sense and intuition. Skillset Required Self-starting personality that tenaciously achieves results. Mastery of understanding and application of real value creation for both the Company and the customer. Exceptional decision-making skills. Able to read contracts and discern liabilities associated. Ability to work well independently and within a team and can coordinate efforts with fellow team members. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in the English language. Fluency in additional languages is a benefit. Demonstrable ability to multitask, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Computer proficiency and extensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite (particularly strong in Excel), cloud-based interfaces, and various computer programs. An energetic personality, maintaining a positive, upbeat attitude. Curious – always looking at data with a bent toward asking “Why?” Understanding of the details of creating real value. Takes quick action and are results oriented. Takes ownership of your performance and seek out open and honest communication with a willingness to hear, process and act on critical feedback to grow yourself. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years sales experience with proprietary engineered products (aerospace a plus); manufacturing or design engineering experience a plus. Quantitative business experience desired including technical sales, engineering, finance, and operations. Aerospace or industrial experience. CRM experience summarizing customer information and providing clear communication on next steps required to close deals. Demonstrated results from current and prior positions. References validating proven performance is required. Remote (work from home) is an option for the ideal Canidate.
