The Finance IT organization is a team of fun-loving and motivated individuals working on managing IT architecture, platforms, and engineering services for Cisco core financials area.What You'll DoWe are currently looking for a talented and passionate Software Engineer to become part of our team. More than any other quality, we are looking for those inspired by the challenge of solving unique and difficult technical problems for our business partners, those who excel when given creative freedom, and those who aren't afraid to dive into new territory (technical or otherwise) and learn something new.You Will:Work in an agile development environment with product owner, scrum lead, and global delivery teams to be a key contributor to Project releases and sprint payloads.Be part of core operations team managing finance back-office applications and troubleshooting to implement proactive and preventive measures to avoid business disruption leveraging newer technologies.Participate in end-to-end software development lifecycle, adhering to the defined processes, and implementing solutions that support business needs.Conduct design review and walkthroughs with engineering teams.Contribute to continuously improve the development process to enable build to operate capabilities.Who You'll Work WithWhen you work with us, you'll be part of a highly empowered collaborative "FUTURE IT" team who's passionate about the use of technology to deliver outstanding business outcomes. You will work with business partners, internal and external partners, Cisco's outsourced partners, and cross-functional teams.Who You AreBoth your stakeholders and teammates consider you a go-to person for solving business problems and managing daily operations with the most efficient and innovative solutions for all Finance applications. As a result, you have a winning record of improving the systems and processes with out of the box thinking to deliver unprecedented operational efficiencies and productivity savings. You thrive in a fast-paced agile development environment and possess a passion for application development and delighting our users. You're a driven, resourceful, dynamic individual who loves to innovate, disrupt, and solve sophisticated problems.Basic Qualifications3+ years of work experience in software development lifecycle, agile delivery methods and DevOps, with finance ERP (Oracle EBS R12) and exposure to Invoice to Cash and Revenue2+ years of work experience with software development in building business applications and integrations using Oracle ERP OOB and Third-party Integration tools.3+ years of work experience in Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Performance tuning, Web Services, REST API's.Bachelor's degree +5 years or Master's degree +3 years in engineering or computer science Preferred Qualifications3+ years of software development experience in building business applications, integrations, preferably in Finance.3+years with MEAN Stack, Cloud Native Technologies, Kafka, Elastic Search, Unix Scripting, Python.Proven experience with Finance ERP (Oracle EBS R12).Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Control-M Scheduling would be an asset.Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco.
