The Head of Customer Marketing will shape and execute customer marketing strategies, drive customer engagement and foster customer advocacy and loyalty. The Head of Customer Marketing will lead a team responsible for building and executing integrated account-based marketing strategies that prioritize customer needs relevant to the customer segments and personas.Successful candidates will have a revenue-based mind-set and utilize a combination of business strategy, customer analytics, creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to develop a customer specific go-to-market strategy. Effective communication and collaboration skills are key to accomplishing our business objectives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for developing comprehensive growth strategies to achieve revenue, market share and share-of-wallet objectives. Oversee all aspects of customer marketing strategies and customer-focused initiatives that drive acquisition, retention, and utilization goals.In partnership with strategic account leads to develop strategies that meet the unique needs and goals of our strategic customer groups (GPOs and Corporate Customers) and develop proposals to meet them.Partner cross functionally with strategic account teams, portfolio directors, supplier relations, product marketers, sales and operations teams to align strategy and prioritization. Develop product offerings, promotions, and pricing strategies to meet the unique needs of strategic customer groups while maximizing profit for the company. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of customer marketing programs and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.Translate sales and company objectives into aligned account-level plans for marketing messages, tactics, and content. Build and nurture relationships with key customers, influencers, and advocates to drive customer loyalty and advocacy.Champion the customer-centric mindset within the organization and ensure that the customer is at the center of every decision and action.Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences and trends and customer segments and translate insights into product offerings, marketing strategies and programs.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in customer marketing, proactively apply relevant knowledge to drive innovation and increase market share. Build and mentor high-performing teams, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:EducationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field. MBA preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be consideredWork Experience12 years relevant marketing experience, including strategic positioning and messaging, sales enablement, competitive analysis, and product launches preferably in Veterinary or Human Healthcare.
