Primary Responsibilities Production of all components required for service including Italian meringue buttercream, fruit compotes, citrus curds, chocolate ganache, and different saucesPlating of menu items which could include piping, texturing, painting, working with edible gold leaf and stencilsCustomize dishes per dietary restrictions or per request from customersDishes and kitchen cleaning as required before, during, and after serviceMaintain tidiness of workstations and follow all health and safety requirements Required Skills & Character Traits Time management and ability to work in a fast-past environment Ability to accommodate changes and remain professional at all timesWillingness to help others and work well in a team oriented environmentAttention-to-detailStrong sense of color, proportion, and scaleExcellent problem-solving skillsSolid communication skills, ability to ask for help / guidance when needed, ability to take feedback constructivelyExcellent dexterity / fine motor skillsSelf-motivationAbility to comprehend instructions quicklyPassion for the food and hospitalityWillingness to work weekends and holidaysAbility to stand for long periods of time Preferred Skills Experience in plating at a fine dining level Experience in catering Job Details 30-40 hours per weekStarting rate: $19+/hour, DOE, plus commission on salesHealth, Dental, and Vision Benefits (must maintain minimum of 30 hours per week)Paid parking/Orca card Position start date: ImmediatelyPowered by JazzHR
