Description:
This is a first shift opportunity to provide maintenance support to the entire manufacturing facility to ensure quality and minimize production downtime. This position contributes to the ongoing upkeep of machinery, equipment, and plant operations by providing repairs, adjustments, installations and preventive maintenance necessary for proper function of operations. What You'll Be Doing: Applies a wide variety of methods, procedures & techniques to layout, install, align, repair, overhaul, & maintain various types of machines encompassing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems & operation principles. Advise management on significant maintenance trends affecting the facility and proposals for improvement. Oversee and support set up, changeover, and startup of production lines Ordering parts and materials as needed to repair equipment. Work in compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and good manufacturing practices. Your Areas of Knowledge: Minimum of 5 years experience as maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment Extensive knowledge of mechanical devices, troubleshooting & repair, and safe work practices Must have a working knowledge of all power and hand tools. Welding a plus. Proven experience with food manufacturing desired. HACCP certification preferred. Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, climb, bend, stoop, squat, and fine motor skills to work with all types of hand tools. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and heavier weights using appropriate equipment and/or team lifting techniques Some of the Rewards of Working Here: Competitive pay and opportunity for overtime.
