NOW HIRING Diesel Mechanic Location: Sacramento, CA A, B, or C Mechanics - $5000.00 hiring and retention bonus Apply now! $24.00-$40.00+ Hourly Coach USA has new and exciting career opportunities for Mechanics at our Sacramento, CA location. We are looking for a mechanic to repair and inspect company equipment in a cost effective, safe, timely manner. What We Offer: Competitive wage based upon experience and certifications Flexible hours Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, short term disability, Life insurance, 401K) PTO, vacation, paid holidays Uniform provided Generous paid time off Responsibilities: Routine and preventative maintenance Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns or failures Complete A, B, SPAB services and annual inspections on vehicles. Adjust, repair, replace and/or service lights and other electronic/electrical parts as needed. and/or service brakes as needed. Adjust, repair, replace and/or service any system or part on vehicle as needed. AC system service as needed. Change and replace tires and wheels. Maintain a clean shop and work area. Complete all paperwork required for jobs. Flexible work schedule which may include weekends and nights. Other duties as directed by Vehicle Maintenance Manager or other member of management Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license (CDL preferred), clean driving record Be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including outdoors Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must have own tools Two (2) to six (6) years of experience in light and heavy-duty maintenance repairs of trucks and buses. Must have formal classes and/or certificates for maintenance and/or repair.
