FedEx Ground is now hiring part and full-time FedEx Delivery Route Drivers in the Sanford, FL area. Drivers operate out of the Sanford terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses. Our drivers use step vans provided by the employer. No CDL required! Terminal Location: 451 Monroe Rd, Sanford, FL 32771 Pay: $150-$200/day Schedule: FedEx Ground needs flexible people with flexible hours! The typical schedule is Monday - Friday or Tuesday- Saturday from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Delivery Driver Benefits: A weekly paycheck! Company provided uniforms Safety-oriented company culture Other performance-based incentives Easy-to-use GPS navigation and a manager on call for issues Opportunities for bonuses and raises Paid training Delivery Driver Job Information: Full-time is 5 days scheduled per week. We operate 7 days per week. Part-time is 2-3 days scheduled per week. Our routes dispatch no later than 8:00 AM and are completed once all packages are delivered (typically 5pm). This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck at each stop. Delivery Driver Requirements: 1 year of verifiable work driving experience in the last 3 years. Military Driving, Taxi, Uber, Pizza Delivery, and Landscape Driver are all acceptable experience! Clean Motor Vehicle Record Applicants must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical/Physical Exam (Employer reimbursement provided) Background check required Physically able to move packages up to 150 Ibs with a dolly May deliver 120-150 parcels per day with up to 200 during the holidays Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Arrive at the Sanford terminal to pick up the vehicle and packages Loading and unloading packages from the truck Delivering packages to the destination Scanning and logging packages SAFETY, INTEGRITY, SERVICE, and ATTENDANCE are top priorities!
