Company Paid Life Insurance! 10 Days of PTO Offered! We are looking for hardworking and reliable professional team truck drivers with a strong safety record. Schedule flexibility required. Must have weekend availability. See complete qualifications listed below: Qualifications (Must Have): Must possess a current class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple endorsement. * Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed. 21 years of age or older Must possess 1 year experience within most recent 3 years, or obtained a certificate of successful completion from a qualified line haul driving school Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) Ability to hook-up and break-down sets of trailers that require an average lift force of about 100 pounds, several times a day or more. Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck Ability to follow instructions and complete required training Ability to work independently and/or as a team member Responsibilities: Complete run assignment in a safe and timely manner Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain HOS documentation Fuel truck as needed Comply with all FedEx safety policies and procedures Communicate with the FedEx linehaul office in order to secure runs and transportation management system accuracy Maintain truck cleanliness Other responsibilities may be added as needed Bilingual, Military, and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
