You will interact with clients directly to discuss field audit issues. Not only will you work independently, but you'll also collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals. You'll use our cutting-edge audit tools and technology. Learn more about Deloitte Audit.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldMust meet minimum requirements for CPA eligibility before beginning full-time employment3+ years of public accounting or equivalent experienceAbility to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be availablePreferred:Advanced degree in accounting or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certificationExperience with internal controlsExperience with a regional or Big 4 accounting firmExperience working on employee benefit plan audits and knowledge of applicable DOL, IRS, and ERISA regulationsEffective interpersonal and communication skillsProven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExperience working in a fast-paced, team environmentExperience working independently on multiple assignments or engagementsPotential for extensive travelExperience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements, even in a virtual environmentYou may also be eligible to participate in a sales incentive program, whereby you may be eligible to receive certain incentive compensation amounts based on achievement of certain sales goals set forth each year, subject to the terms and conditions of any applicable program document.For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, Jersey City, Colorado, or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City, Jersey City, State of Colorado, and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70000 to $130000.
