Job Title: Surgical Technician Location: Niceville, FL 32578 Employment Type: Full-time - Days Salary: $42,848-$57,741/year based on experience We are currently seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our healthcare team in Niceville, FL. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting the multi-disciplinary healthcare team during surgical procedures and ensuring a safe and compassionate patient care environment. If you provide exceptional support in the operating room and thrive in a collaborative and patient-centered setting, we invite you to apply for this position. Responsibilities: Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures, following sterile techniques and maintaining aseptic conditions. Assist the registered nurse (RN) and surgeon during surgical cases. Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care. Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and supplies required for surgical procedures. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe surgical environment. Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery. Provide additional support as needed during surgical procedures. Qualifications: Graduation from a Surgical Technician program is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Previous experience as a scrub technician is preferred. Surgical Technologist Certification is preferred. Previous hospital experience is preferred. Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
