The Business Risk and Control Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family Responsibilities: - While performing audit and exam management, review key processes to identify gaps and create Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to document and correct deficiencies discovered.- Assist the Business in key policy adherence and monitoring.- Keep Management aware of the risk and control environment of the Business through continuous and open communication.- Ensure that the Business has a sound control environment from an information security perspective, including adherence to relevant policies and regulations.- Responsible for the coordination of key projects.- Serve as point of contact for audit groups and ensure that all audit responses are 100% accurate, complete and submitted by deadlines provided.- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policies, Standards and Procedures.- Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.- Work with appropriate stakeholders within the Citi Private Bank Americas and Wealth at Work to ensure CAPs are moving along in their lifecycle to a timely completion on or prior to their deadline date.- Manage, update and maintain all data and deliverables for both the Continuity of Business (CoB) Plan and Records Management Inventory for Investments Supervision within the Citi Private Bank Americas and Wealth at Work Businesses.- Assist with analysis of population, appropriate role assignment and ad hoc reporting of various investment related training courses for the Citi Private Bank Americas and Wealth at Work Businesses. - Must be able to meet tight deadlines with accurate and applicable information.- Additional duties as assigned. - Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Exams or other control function- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills- Exceptional attention to detail, independent worker, analytical, collaborative and proactive approach to working solutions.- Ability to report and present to multiple audiences with varying degrees of detail.- Provides well-reasoned, balanced assessments of issues and questions in a timely fashion.- Thinks strategically and articulates concepts clearly.- Seasoned professional in MS Office suite of applications. - Education:- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Risk Management ------------------------------------------------- Job Family: Business Risk & Control ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location: Jacksonville Florida United States ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location Salary Range: $103,920.00 - $155,880.00 ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
