Ideally, you will have some legal experience, but we will happily train the right service-minded office professional. The most important qualities you can possess are a great attitude, the ability to learn quickly, and a sincere desire to care for our potential and existing clients. Responsibilities: • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails and make sure the right people receive all important information • Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions• Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc. • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle deliveries Qualifications: • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office• High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent • At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred• Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly About Company: Babcock Partners is a boutique firm in Baton Rouge that focuses on complex injury cases, non-standard insurance defense, and commercial litigation.
