We are looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Maeville Pediatrics in Houston, TX, US. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for handling the revenue cycle management process from start to finish for our pediatric patients. You will process claims, verify accuracy of billing information, investigate and resolve any discrepancies, and research payment denials. The ideal candidate will have strong billing and customer service experience, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise to help us provide excellent care for our patients. Salary: $50,000. Responsibilities:• Monitor and collect payments from patients and insurance companies.• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for payment.• Follow up on pending claims and dispute denials.• Maintain records of payments and account statuses.• Respond to inquiries from patients and providers regarding payments and charges. Qualifications:• US Work Authorization• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills (Determined by an Assessment)• 18 Years or Older• Accounting Experience• Knowledge and familiarity with Medical Billing Standards and Practices Compensation: $50,000 About Company: Maeville Pediatrics is a place where children can feel at home while receiving top-quality health care in a comforting setting.
