We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our hotel facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Responsibilities:• Inspect the hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards• Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities• Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests• Be able to work independently• Act fast to resolve emergency issues, routine guest issues, etc.• Ability to communicate in English is required Qualifications: • At least 2 years of maintenance experience• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends • Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent• Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic• Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly About Company: Red Carpet Inn Fort Lauderdale is a hotel close to I-95. New lobby, coffee bar, and restaurant are currently under construction.
