As a General Ledger Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Your responsibilities will include journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support in various accounting activities, including month-end close, financial reporting, and audit preparation. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger accurately and in a timely manner. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved. Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules. Conduct detailed analysis of general ledger accounts and investigate any variances or discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other financial documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper coding and recording of financial transactions. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support the audit process as needed. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.
