This is a full time direct-hire position that is looking to pay between $40k-$55k/yr. This is a fully onsite position that needs someone to work onsite in Carbondale, PA. This position requires multi-state payroll and 3+ years of payroll experience. This position requires either US citizenship or someone who is a green card holder and is looking to hire ASAP. General Description: Process bi-weekly payroll in a timely matter, with high attention to detail Collect and maintain payroll and tax data Quickly and efficiently resolve payroll discrepancies Maintain employee confidence Ensure all records are kept confidential Generate payroll reports for 401k, 941 forms, quarterly earnings, municipal tax reports and W2 forms Process weekly vendor check runs Ensure invoices received timely, and distributed to Department Heads for approval Ensure invoices are properly coded and entered in the correct period Ensure W-9s are received for new vendors Prepare annual 1099-MISC and 1099-NECs All other job duties as assigned Requirements for this role: 2 to 3 years of hands-on Payroll and Accounts Payable experience Strong interpersonal skills Reliable and professional when handling confidential data High school diploma Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Powered by JazzHR
