The staff registered nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame utilizing the John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA's Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act, Title 22, and Title 16. The RN coordinates and provides care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required Experience: 6 Months Nursing - Medical Acute Care Required Experience in Nursing - Endoscopy Preferred Additional Experience: Medical Acute Care nursing background with ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias. Certifications/Licensures: RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support - American Heart Association Required CGRN Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse - American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Preferred Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively motivates teams. Work Shift: 10.0 - 07:00 - 18:00 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range: $74.66 - $101.72HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
