Culture Vision: Our results driven team strives to deliver extraordinary outcomes through our passionate commitment to each other, collaboration, courage and innovation Main Functions The Sr Manager/ Director Engineering is a key member of Engineering Mangement Team and provides leadership and oversight for all engineering aspects of new product realization and related design engineering for both proprietary and customer owned designs. S/he provides assistance to sales directed capture teams in pursuit of new business in Semiconductor and AeroSpace Segments; is responsible for the execution of plans in support of the Company’s goals and objectives; and works closely with GMs, Production, and Program Management. Facilitates the Company’s profitable growth as well as its positive presence in its desired markets by ensuring the efficient and effective identification, capture and translation of customer requirements into solutions that are capable, innovative and viable. This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law. Typical Duties The Sr Manager/ Director Engineering position is essential for the effective operation of the Engineering Team. This position builds and leads an effective and cohesive Design and Manufacturing Engineering Team . The Sr Manager/Direcor Engineering must develope and institute departmental capability for innovative Designs (including Simulation and Modeling), operational procedures and budgets that reflect both daily operations and long term company objectives. S/he must ensure department resources and structure meet the customer needs and internal needs for responsivenees and accuracy. External communications with customers and vendors regarding all areas of interaction. Responsible for development of new products and product realization from the engineering perspective. Required Skills Understanding of production and manufacturing processes and techniquesKnowledge of quality systems and standardsExperienced in process improvement techniquesKnowledge of business, finance and management principlesKnowledge of engineering and technology principles and practicesExcellent communication, teamwork, project management, and presentation skills.Excellent leadership/management and business acumen skillsDrivers license, auto insurance and acceptable driving record Preferred Skills Experience/Knowledge of Semicon Capital Equipment Manufactures.Contacts at the major Capital Equipment manufactures for Semicon Market.Experience/Knowledge in Aerospace/Sattelite markets Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering Experience Requirements 3-5 years Senior Engineering Leadership in Semicon or Aerospace enviroments Physical Requirements Sitting, standing and travel, both domestic and international required.
