Members are prohibited from displaying tattoos on limbs that would normally be visible when a summer uniform is worn. ***Department members must cover prohibited tattoos, scarring, and/or branding, with a skin-toned patch, bandage, long sleeved shirt, or other material approved by the Chief of Police Examinations: Written Test Physical Agility Test Oral Interview Physical and Medical Examination Psychological Examination The written test will be given on Saturday March 21, 2020 @ 0900 hours at the North Penn High School Computer Lab. Check in for the written test will begin @ 0800 hours. The address is 1340 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446 . (Enter the School through the main entrance). The physical agility portion of the process will be conducted for the Top 60 written scores including ties immediately following the written test and begin at 1200 hours at the North Penn High School track complex. Please come prepared with proper clothing. There will be time between the written test and the physical agility for applicants to change. Application packets are available for pickup starting Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. These applications will be available Monday through Friday, 0700-2200. Application packets are also available on the township website at www.lowermoreland.org All applicants must present photo identification on the date of testing . No food or drink, cell phones, back packs, hats, weapons or purses are permitted in the testing area, other than those used to carry personal hygiene items. Administrative Fee: A $40.00 non-refundable administrative fee must be submitted with the completed application for examination. This payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. If paying by credit card, you can go to www.lowermoreland.org and select Police, Municipay, and Pay Your Bill Online. Under "Select Payment Item,” choose Police Testing Fee. Complete the requested information and select "Add Item.” Then proceed to “Check-out." Please be advised if completing payment this way there is a Non-refundable $3 convenience fee added to the shopping cart. All applications for examination must be completed and returned to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley PA 19006 no later than 4:00 pm on Wednesday March 18, 2020. Applicants using “Municipay” may email completed application to XXXX@lowermoreland.org . If you email application and do not receive a confirmation email, call LMPD to verify it was received. Applications and payment may be mailed to the station (Attn: New Applicant Hiring) but must be post marked no later than Monday March 16, 2020 No Exceptions.
