Quality Informatics SpecialistSt. Luke Community Healthcare is looking for a motivated self-starter to join our IT team. The Quality Informatics Specialist (QIS) will provide consultation for and administration of information technology that impacts the measurement and reporting of clinical quality data. The right candidate will serve as a key lead the management of quality improvement projects and workflow improvement. The Quality Informatics Specialist should have excellent communication skills in order to work with clinical departments, IT, and the Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator to link technology, patient care, and information management and will be responsible for larger, more complex work assignments.Duties will include, but are not limited to managing projects pertaining to quality, value-based purchasing and data analytics; working with IT to improve accuracy and remove variation of data collected in within Quality Dashboards; and building SQL reports as needed The ideal candidate will possess clinical credentials (RN, BSN, LPN, CST, EMT-P, etc.), Information Technology, or Health Information Technology credentials; experience with Hospital and Ambulatory EMRs, Meditech; MS SQL Scripting and Report writing Experience; and current knowledge of workflow and data mapping.
