City of Allen ParkPublic Service WorkerThe City of Allen Park Department of Public Services is accepting applications for a full-time Public Service Worker.Minimum qualifications: Citizen of the United States, minimum of 18 years of age at application date, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to successfully pass a written and/or oral interview examination, a valid Michigan Commercial Driver’s License – Class B with Air Brakes or must be able to obtain within the first 90-days of employment, and must be able to pass a physical examination and drug screening. The functions of the Public Service Worker are to assist in the repairs of streets and sidewalks, forestry, grass mowing, building maintenance, and excavation work, such as repair of water mains, water services, sewer mains, and sewer manholes.
